I decided to create a breakfast recipe to bring something new to the blog. These scones were a delicious addition to weekend brunch. I hope you enjoy this recipe.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 pint of raspberries
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 2 cups flour
- 4 Tbs sugar
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 sticks butter, cut into cubes
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup water (for egg wash)
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.

Cut in the cubed butter until pea sized dots are formed.

Add buttermilk, white chocolate chips, and raspberries to flour mixture and knead until dough forms.


Roll dough into a circle and cut into triangular slices.

To make egg wash, combine 1 egg and water. Brush over scones.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes.
